The Initial Teaching Alphabet Foundation provides funding and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations wishing to use i.t.a for the advancement of literacy.  Support includes program development, conferences and seminars, consulting and training.

A number of publications about i.t.a and reading materials for beginning literacy learners are also available.  Manuals for teachers and program developers and computer programs provide assistance to those wishing to implement the programs.
