Grant Application Procedures and Deadline Dates:
 
Funding requests are initiated with a letter of intent from the applicant by March 15.  The letter of intent should be from 2- to 4 pages in length and double-spaced.  If the letter of intent is within the foundation's guidelines and resources, the foundation's staff will review the letters of intent and approve those selected initiatives to submit full proposals by April 15.

The letter of intent  process should summarize the following information within the foundation's guidelines and interests.

What are the primary objectives of the project?

Describe the desired outcomes of the project.

bullet

How will you evaluate the program made toward achieve the desired outcomes?

bullet

What are the estimated budget and timetable for the project?

bullet

Who will be responsible for carrying out the work of the project?

The proposal should elaborate on the information provided in the letter of intent and include:

A cover letter from the designee of the not-for-profit organization to the Executive Director

bullet

What are the needs, objectives, strategy, and evaluating procedures?

bullet

How many students and staff will be involved to accomplish your goals?

bullet

A proposed detailed line budget

bullet

Will the research and the results be disseminated at conferences, in periodicals and/or books?

bullet

Who will be involved in the project?  Submit vitae.

bullet

Number the pages of the proposal.
